About Sylvie
YES, SYLVIE IS A REAL PERSON!
There are those people who gravitate toward diamonds and jewelry as a business that interests them. And then there are people, like Sylvie Levine, who have an intense passion for diamonds and jewelry because it is in their blood.
Sylvie was born in a little city called Antwerp, the largest diamond center in the world, where diamonds are bought and sold, manufactured, imported and exported. She is a third generation member of a family that worked with diamonds and was always surrounded by the beauty and appreciation of diamonds and the jewelry that holds these diamonds. Fluent in five languages, Sylvie spent a decade in the diamond industry in Belgium before moving to the US where she has spent over 16 years in the diamond jewelry business.
Because of this background Sylvie has an incredible eye for styling and a total commitment to exceptional craftsmanship. When you get to know Sylvie the person, you immediately sense that this is a person with great authenticity and unusual desire to offer her customers added value in everything she does.
Add to this the fact that Sylvie's husband Ian was born in South Africa, the land of diamond-mining and what you get is a powerful partnership of two people from different ends of the world with the same excitement and expertise when it comes to diamonds and jewelry. This powerful partnership has built a successful and respected company, Spectrum Diamonds, that for over 25 years has been dedicated to offering clients products and relationships that stand head and shoulders above any other in the industry. In 2008, they introduced a bridal line extension for the company - The Sylvie Collection.
